About Me...

My name is Orin, yes that's my actual name, and I picked it myself. I am in my early 30s (giving myself some leeway there in case I don't remember to update this every time I have a birthday) and I live in Pennsylvania with my husband, Calvin, and our dog, Luke.

I am bi and nonbinary but I usually just say queer. I am also neurodivergent - diagnosed adhd and self-diagnosed autistic.

On MySpace back in my day instead of writing an actual about me, we used to list the most random facts about ourselves we could think of, so here's some random facts about me:

• I am exactly 5ft 7.5in tall
• I am a cancer sun, scorpio moon and rising
• I love slugs and snails (I guess that one's no big surprise)
• I used to have 3 pet garden snails but they sadly died while we were in the process of moving
• my dream is to own a giant african land snail, though they're wildly illegal where I live
• speaking of wild pets, I would die to have a pet deer
• I work in a public library but I am not a librarian (fun fact: you need a master's degree to become a librarian)
• I've spent most of my working life as a barista (my usual coffee order is a 16oz iced chai latte with oatmilk, an extra pump of chai, and two shots of espresso)
• my favorite color is a dark forest-y green
• I am obsessed with the moon and even got married during a full moon!
