IT'S BABY MONTH!
Our due date isn't actually until September 9 but they told us a couple weeks ago that they don't want us to go past 39 weeks, especially with our history. And then a few days ago we were finally able to schedule our induction! So we'll be induced on August 27th, which is really fun as it's also one of my coworkers' birthday. There's no guarantee she'll actually be born on the 27th, of course, but it's definitely possible!
It's so interesting - so different from our last experience - to have such a firm deadline in place. We've really gone into overdrive as far as getting the house cleaned up and organized and ready for baby's arrival. We're almost done now and it just feels so satisfying to actually feel at home in our house. After losing our last baby almost 2 years ago now, we really just let things go and didn't really have the energy to catch up with everything. Now that we're kind of forced to, it feels so so good and just makes me even more excited to have this baby and bring her home!
I can't believe there's only 3 more weeks! Now that we have an official date, I've been keeping a daily countdown in her nursery. Maybe once it's done done, I'll post a few pictures of her nursery; while we haven't done quite as much decorating as I would love to, there are some cute details that I love.
