My first book club meeting went really well last night! Two people unfortunately couldn't make it but we still had 5 of us there, including me and my husband! I think we had a really good discussion, everyone talked a fair bit and we all got on quite well. I'm really looking forward to how things go from here! We're still voting on our next book but it looks like it's probably going to be Bad Cree by Jessica Johns, which I've heard is good so I'm excited about that. I just requested it from the library.
Now I'm just hoping that our little group doesn't fall apart after having a baby in a month or two...
It probably seems silly to start a new thing now, just weeks before I'm due to have a baby, but I also don't really want to completely put my life on hold because I'm pregnant.
