My First Post

I always feel like there's something special about the first entry in a new diary, journal, blog, whatever.

I am so excited about this new site, I already feel like I've learned so much and I have quite a few ideas for the future. But right now, I'm pleased enough with the way it looks. I like the old web aesthetic it has (simply by way of me knowing the bare minimum about coding).

The big thing I want to work on next is figuring out how to add my zines to the site. I was imagining a sort of flipbook thing for each zine but I definitely don't have the coding knowledge to do that myself and the few programs I've found have a limit of like 5 "books" and you have to pay for more. I am looking into Melon's gallery maker and may end up going with that. I don't know, we'll see. Let me know if you have any ideas on how I might make that work.

I also have a little splash page that I made and I'm thinking about setting up - I fear it'd be a little annoying but then I'm also debating how much I actually care. And speaking of annoying! I really wanna put music on my page, so I gotta look more into how to do that. And I have some shrine-type things I wanna do at some point!

There's so many things floating around in my brain and I'm having so much fun with all of this! It reminds me of being 14 and spending hours messing around with my myspace layout. It's so nostalgic!
