Oh. Em. GEE! This book was so much fun! Jake Spooky is a shy, punk-rockin' ghost who has some strange and mysterious powers bubbling just below the surface. Things can get a little bit...weird in Jake's world. He just wants to chill out and have band practice, but he keeps puking up wolves...and he has no idea why. One day, as a massive hurricane approaches, Jake can't seem to stop puking up wolves, and the landlord has had enough! He will need to look inside himself and unravel the mystery of the wolves within. Luckily, his roommates, the TV-headed Brand-o and Quincy the cat, help keep things under control (most of the time). If any more wolves show up, the three friends are going to get kicked out of their house!
I loved this graphic novel! It was so quirky and odd in such a matter of fact way. It reminded me a lot of Adventure Time and similar shows. It almost felt nostalgic in that way. I wonder if the creator, Michael Grover, grew up watching a lot of Cartoon Network.
